As of October 20, the PHHS Foundation has approved seven grant requests from our teachers totaling nearly $2,300 in needed support for classrooms and students. We've also hosted a BBQ to welcome teachers back for the new school year, hosted breakfast for students who'd maintained a 4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) during the spring 2026 semester, and chipped in to provide lunch for our colleagues at Pershing Middle School as they mourn the tragic loss of a student.

Our Activity During the 2025/26 School Year
The PHHS Foundation approved 19 grants during the 2025/26 school year totaling more than $7,200. These funds helped to pay for a range of essential supplies, equipment, and activities — from calculators, books, and classroom and club supplies and subscriptions to athletic gear, AP testing snacks, and student conference and competition fees.
Your donations also enabled us to host events in the fall and spring that honor our school's dedicated faculty and staff, as well as students earning a 4.0 or higher GPA. Additionally, the PHHS Foundation used funds to help meet essential needs among student families who are currently experiencing homelessness.
